Christos painted these 3 busts I sccupted this year and years ago.
for peiper bust (Andrea) he has cutted the back and i think it is better like this
the fallschirmjäger (DES kit) is a 1/16 bust.
The batallion 500 has is gasmask bag removed.

29th Infantry Division at Omaha

Hi fellow modellers
65 years ago, the 6 june 1944, allied forces invaded the french coast in normandy to liberate europe.
With Maurice DES owner of DES kit french company we decided to make a commemorative figure of one a of the most important Us Division wich took part of this battle at Omaha beach : the 29th Infantry Division

this figure is a tribute to all the allied soldiers who faught for liberty

In september 2008 i met Young B Song for the second time at Euromilitaire(Folkestone England), we talked about figures and bust. I showed and gave him my last 1/16 US Airborne bust.
He asked me if i will be able to sculpt a 1/10 bust , my answer was of course I have already done the Andrea's Piper bust.
At the end of the show after some soft drinks at the "café" in front of the see we decided to work together on a german bust.

It was the good one and now i' m pleased to show you my 3rd 1/10 bust, this german para of the battalion 500 in drvar 1944 (yougoslavia)

After a long travel from France to Korea, the bust well arrived to Young Factory.
it was time for it to be painted.
The paintwork was made by the master Sang Eon Lee and i have to tell that it's one of the best splinter camo i have ever seen at this scale, his paint is so realistic.

I am happy to present you this 110 mm figure I carved in March 2008 for DES kit
this figure had made barter object at the time of girona’s WE in July between Diego Fernadez Fortes and me
Indeed it was for me occasion to meet him for the first time
Diego changed the head for a Kirin´s one modelled some years ago by Mike Good. He was expecting for an appropriate figure to use this head!
He used smooth colours with less shadow and highlights than for a 1/35 or 75 mm figure
This is more lifelike and less “artistic”or “graphic”.
This is a Ramcke brigade paratrooper circa libya in 1942
So here is his master paintwork

In november 2005 contacts were taken with Andrea Miniatures to sculpt a bust master.
the topic was Jochen Peiper.
the most famous story of him was his action during the battle of the ardennes in 1944
the picture chosen to carved this bust was the well known of him with leather uniform.
this was the first time i worked with this company and instructions were given by e-mail because i couldn't travel from france to spain.
The bust finished, i sent it by post (with tracking) in march 2006, the first time i saw the bust again was in august 2006, it was painted and was announced as the new andrea bust.
This experiment was very enriching and this bust remains our only collaboration.
Since this date i have never painted it myself to busy with others sculpt and paint but this year (2008/2009)i have planed to paint it.

World Expo Girona 2008 (part 1)

The last 3,4,5,6 july took place in Girona(spain) the World expo 2008
For most of us this was one of the best WE.
The modellers recieved an envelope with registration number and some others vouchers one of it was for a free commemorative figure sculpted by R G Latorre

In 2006 I carved a german para of the fjgr 6.
This action took place in Carentan in 1944 during the Normandy's campaign, an other bust was planed.It was a US para never done since this time.
I decided after my last 1/16 full figure to do it

When I was younger I used to read fantasy books, On of them was the story of Elric of Melnibonée.
This albino who couldn’t live without is demoniac sword (excepted with drugs) fascinated me , sometimes man sometimes demon, slave of this sword which gave him the life by taking the hearts of its victims
After having carved so many history figures I thus decided to carry out that this anti hero.
